Polytechnic Launches Investigation into Private Party Thrown for Counselor in One of Its Halls

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain Polytechnic university announced establishing a commission of inquiry to look into what the Al-Bilad newspaper, owned by Ali bin Khalifa, the Prime Minister's son, reported about a bachelor party held on the university's campus for one of the university's foreign counselors.

The executive administration of Polytechnic said "it took the necessary measures to interrogate the suspects involved in this incident," adding that "the commission started its investigations on Wednesday (August 5, 2015) and interrogation of the people in charge. Due to the fact that some of the participants are on an annual academic leave, the commission of inquiry will continue its investigations when they return, according to the law and regulations of the civil service bureau."
