Bahrain Mirror: Dahi Khalfan, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security, said that Gulf security cooperation is strong and comprehensive. In an interview with Bahrain Television aired Tuesday night (September 22, 2015), he stressed that the Gulf security agreement enhanced the intelligence's activity in foiling what he described as "Iranian plots."

"We will not allow any threat to the security and stability of our states and peoples," he added.

Responding to a question, Khalfan said: "There is no binding agreement with some states like European states to hand over wanted suspects in the Gulf States."

He also attacked the Islamic Republic of Iran saying: "Iran's Revolutionary Guard will not abandon its dream to establish an Iranian Shiite Kingdom."
