Bahrain Mirror: The Al-Bilad newspaper owned by Ali bin Khalifa, the Prime Minister's son, said that Bahrain's Ministry of Labour and Social Development decided to transfer the administrative staff of Ministry of Social Development (before merging) from the financial harbor to the ministry's headquarters in Isa Town and social centers across the governorates.

The newspaper added that "transferring the administrative staff and the high level officials in the social development sector needs at least 6 months in order to prepare the offices and link the computers to the system in the ministry."

"The staff that will be transferred to the ministry's headquarters are the attorney, assistant attorneys and head of departments. However, the employees who have to directly have contact with the people and complete service transactions will be transferred to the social centers distributed across different governorates," Al-Bilad further stated.

"The transfer timing is linked to the nature of the lease contract already signed by the Ministry of Development with the owning and responsible party for the financial harbor," it added.
