2015-11-13 - 4:58 am

Bahrain Mirror: A Bahraini court adjourned on Thursday (November 12, 2015) the case of the prominent opposition leader and former Secretary-General of the Liberal National Democratic Action Society (Wa'ad), Ebrahim Sharif, to listen to witnesses

testimonies, according to lawyer Fatima Al-Hawaj's tweets on her personal Twitter account.

Al-Hawaj did not specify the date of the next trial.

It is noteworthy that the former Secretary-General of Wa'ad was arrested after the emergency law was announced in March 2011 and that a military court sentenced him to more than 10 years in prison in the opposition "figures" case. However, the authorities released him in June 2015 after spending more than the quarter of his sentence and rearrested him 3 weeks later.
