Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Third High Court of Appeals, presided over by Judge Rashid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa with the membership of judges Osama Al-Shadhili and Bader Al-Abdullah and Mobarak Al-Anbar as secretariat, upheld the acquittal sentence of a policeman accused of firing a shotgun at a protestor in the Bilad Al-Qadeem area. The policeman appeared in a vidoe that was circulated on social media yet the court said that the case documents had no mention of victims or injuries.

It is to note that the Bahraini authorities used to arrest anyone who files a complaint or make a statement against the violations of security forces under the pretext that the complainants "participated in unlicensed and illegal assemblies," or any other pretext.
