Protests in Bahrain Commemorate "Bloody Thursday"

Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): A number of Bahraini villages witnessed on Thursday (February 18, 2016) mass protests commemorating the anniversary of the "Bloody Thursday"- the day when the army attacked protestors at the Pearl "LuaLua" Roundabout (February 17, 2011) during the early hours of the morning leaving four protestors killed and dozens of injuries.

Demonstrators lit candles in Sitra and in villages west of the Bahraini capital Manama, expressing their grief over the victims and chanted slogans blaming Bahrain's King, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, for the incident.  

The security forces fired tear gas at protestors in Abu Saiba, west of Manama, before showering residential areas with toxic tear gas.
