Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini supreme criminal court held the sixth trial hearing of Sheikh Ali Salman, the opposition leader and Secretary-General of Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society, and adjourned the trial until April 11, 2016.

During the hearing, the defense panel presented a number of speeches that it said refuted the Public Prosecution's allegations that Sheikh Salman incited hatred against a certain sect, insulted the Ministry of Interior and promoted the overthrow of the regime by force.

A source close to the defense panel stated that a technical error prevented the panel from presenting Sheikh Salman's speeches, and thus the hearing was adjourned until April 11, when the pleading will be entered and the rest of the recordings will be presented.

Sheikh Salman is serving a 4-year jail term after being convicted of insulting the Bahraini Ministry of Interior and inciting hatred against a sect, and also acquitted of the charge of seeking to overthrow the regime and change the political system by force.
