Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini cabinet decided in its regular session held on Monday (April 18, 2016) to approve the development of a new kind of gasoline with 98 Octane, known as "Super fuel" to be made available in the market as a third option for consumers alongside "Jayyid" (Good) and "Mumtaz" (Excellent) fuel.

According to the cabinet's statement, the price of the super fuel will fluctuate, taking into account oil benchmark prices in world markets, in addition to operating and transport costs specified by BAPCO.

The cabinet stressed that the price of super fuel is not pegged to that of "Jayyid" and "Mumtaz" that will remain 125 fils and 160 fils per litre respectively.
