Bahrain's MoI: Besiege over Diraz Imposed Due to Illegal Assembly

2016-07-11 - 4:45 am

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Ministry of Interior said that the besiege over Diraz was imposed after what it described as "illegal assembly", denying preventing residents from entering to the village.

Many citizens complained about being not able to visit their families in Diraz during the Eid after the authorities did not allow them to enter the village because they are not residents.

"Dirazis are not denied entering or leaving their village. The currently applied controlling measures on movement are due to the illegal assembly in Diraz" said the General-Director of the Northern Governorate Police.

He added "all the coasts which fall under the responsibility of directorate are open, including abu Subh Coast, for all habitus and there are no obstacles reaching them."
