Bahrain Mirror: The Iraqi Hashid Shaabi, or Popular Mobilization Forces, said it started on Saturday it's attack on ISIS headquarters in West Mosul to support the campaign to restore the city control from ISIS.

The Mobilization Forces started their movement towards Tal Afar, ISIS stronghold in west Mosul, from its sites south of the city.

In a statement issued on the mobilization website, they said that Tal Afar is among the cities that the forces seek to restore from the grip of ISIS.

It is expected that this operation triggers Turkish concerns, since Tal Afar is located near Turkey, and hosts a big population of Turkmen residents.
