Bahrain Mirror: The Al-Wasat newspaper said in today's issue that the 2016 report of National Institute for Human Rights did not refer to the security siege imposed on Diraz since 6 months.

The newspaper explained that Diraz siege remains a reason "to Dirazis sufferings and their relatives since over 200 days. Diraz has been under strict siege never witnessed before in Bahrain since dozens years. Residents of Diraz still suffer from the Internet cut off from night till the dawn."

It added "the NIHR did not also tackle in its report Al-Wefaq dissolution and funds liquidation. Besides, the institution's 2016 report lacked any detailed recommendation such as those mentioned in its 2014 report and that of 2015 that included 23 recommendations."

NIHR had issued its report for 2015 and 2016 on Wednesday (January 11, 2016) to the King who appoints the institute's members by royal decrees.
