Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's High Appeals court commuted a 15-year jail term issued against a political detainee, over burning a car owned by the ministry of interior, to 10 years.

The Public Prosecution claims that on August 14, 2015, while a number of policemen were near Al-Ghadir Mosque in Sanad "protecting worshippers who were performing Friday prayers", masked people came, poured a substance on the security patrol and set it to fire. The Criminal Investigation Department conducted its serious investigations and reached the said suspects who were caught according to the legal measures and presented to the prosecution.

The prosecution said that it relied on hearsay evidence, the attesting witnesses, technical reports as well as the incident's photos.
