2017-02-28 - 4:42 am

Bahrain Mirror: Information reported that detainee Sayed Alawi Moussawi is being transferred to hospital on a regular basis over fear of his death, and to ensure his ability to withstand more torture. The information also added that the criminal investigations (intelligence) wants to force him into signing confessions that might be exploited to convict Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qassim.

Moussawi, who has been in detention for 126 days, was always in the company of Sheikh Isa Qassim. Information confirmed that interrogations aim at extracting confessions from Moussawi, which would convict Sheikh Qassim, who's under trial on charges of managing the Shiite religious Khums ritual.

The authorities had arrested Moussawi (October 24, 2016), and he has not been allowed to meet his family or lawyer since then, and the regime authorities have not yet officially accused him of anything. Moreover, information stated that Moussawi currently suffers from partial paralysis because of the torture he is subjected to in the intelligence building. He, however, refused to sign any statement under torture.

In addition, sources closely following up on Sayed Moussawi's case, said they believe the investigations committee, affiliated with the joint security apparatuses; army and national guards, supervised the Sayed Alawi Moussawi's detention and interrogations.
