Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE Confirm Continued Air Embargo on Qatar

Bahrain Mirror: The Civil Aviation Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications confirmed that it is committed to its decision issued June 5, 2017, preventing all Qatari airlines and aircrafts registered in Qatar, from landing in Bahrain airports or crossing through its sovereign airspace.

In a statement, the Ministry indicated that the decision does not include airlines or aircraft that are not registered in Bahrain or Qatar, and wish to cross through the Kingdom's airspace to and from Qatar.

Regarding private and non-Qatari flights heading to or from Qatar and with to cross through the Bahraini airspace, the Ministry said that they ought to make a prior request to the Civil Aviation Affairs Authorities at 24 hours before, along with the list of passengers' names and nationalities, and the flight's cargo.

Saudi Arabia and the UAE also issued statements with similar announcements.
