Nabeel Rajab’s Trial Adjourned Until Wednesday

Bahrain Mirror: The Third Minor Criminal Court adjourned today (Tuesday June 13, 2017) the case of prominent Bahraini activist and President of Bahrain Center for Human Rights, Nabeel Rajab, until tomorrow Wednesday June 14, to summon investigator.

The court convened Monday and decided to postpone the case until Tuesday, while Rajab remains in detention. Today, the court made a similar decision, and until now, the reason why the court is attempting to quickly convene its sessions in his case remains unknown.

Rajab is tries in this case for spreading false news during interviews conducted with him by foreign media outlets over the human rights situation in Bahrain.

Nabeel Rajab has serves 1 year in prison and is prosecuted in 2 cases. He is kept in solitary confinement and is not allowed to mingle with other inmates.
