Bahrain Mirror: Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Bahraini ambassador to the United Kingdom, accused Qatar of supporting terrorism in Britain, saying that it has ties with the responsible for Manchester bombings, which claimed the lives of 22 people.

Al Khalifa said in an interview with the British Telegraph newspaper that "There is a growing concern in Bahrain over relations linking terrorist extremist groups backed by Qatar, and terrorist groups that have committed atrocities such as those recently witnessed Britain." He went on to say that he is "concerned by reports of a connection between the Manchester bomber Salman Abedi and Qatari-backed factions in Libya."

The Bahraini ambassador Fawaz Al Khalifa also claimed that Qatar "is undermining stability in Bahrain by supporting terrorist groups such as Saraya Al-Ashtar, which has carried out bombings and assassinations against security forces in Bahrain."
