Bahrain Mirror: A Qatari official wished Bahrain would not arrest members of the Muslim Brotherhood or shut down their newspaper over their condemnation of the attack launched on the organization.

In response to Bahraini Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa's threats to punish the organization, the former Qatari deputy prime minister and Energy Minister Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, said: "The Muslim Brotherhood are present in Bahrain and they have Al-Nabaa newspaper, which responded to the foreign minister and criticized his stance."

"I hope that they will not be put in prisons and that this newspaper will not be closed. We should not forget that this movement stood with the government of Bahrain against what was committed by others during the recent unrest in Bahrain."
