500 BD Fine to Bahraini who Killed 3 in Car Accident

Bahrain Mirror: The Seventh Minor Criminal "Traffic" court issued a 500 BD fine against a Bahraini man who hit three people on Khalifa bin Salman Street near A'ali village and killed them. The court ordered to refer the civilian case to the competent court.

The traffic accident happened in September. Eyewitnesses said that a Bahraini was driving a "Ford Pickup" vehicle and hit another "Nissan" car driven by a Bahraini. The "Ford" driver didn't stop, so the "Nissan" driver tried to stop the driver who caused the accident.

The "Nissan" driver then tried to hinder the way of the running away driver. He made him stop at the emergency line, but a part of the "Ford Pickup" vehicle remained on the right lane of the street. The two drivers descended from their cars along with other two witnesses to check on the cars and talk to each other. At that time, a Bahraini driving a "Ford" Jeep hit the the people standing outside their cars, killing three of them.
