Bahrain Mirror: The Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies announced that it has completed the finalization of a documentary book discussing what the Center described as "the events of the armed Qatari aggression on Daibal that lies in the territorial waters of Bahrain in 1986".

According to the Center, "this book aims at substantively documenting the events and facts of the brutal aggression of the Qatari occupation on Daibal in 1986, deeming it a crime of treacherous treason against the territory and sovereignty of a peaceful neighboring country."

The book, according to the center, tackles "the unfortunate aggression that shocked the people of the Arab Gulf, and recounts the painful details about the targeting of innocent workers, who were defenseless. The workers of the Dutch company operating in Daibal were surprised by the landing of four helicopters on Saturday afternoon, on April 26, 1986, when a group of soldiers dismounted the aircraft shouting loudly and angrily and firing in the air. They ordered them to stand in a row and remain calm. Meanwhile, rapid gunfire was directed at a company ship near Daibal that hit the ship's hull, and when the ship tried to escape it was hit by a Qatari military dinghy and was taken towards the Daibal. Helicopters also pursued another naval locomotive with machine-gun fire.
