Bahrain Mirror: Numbers revealed by Minister for Shura Council and House of Representatives Affairs Ghanem Al-Buainain showed that foreigners in the government sector constitute 16%, which means that they amount to 7742 employees.

Al-Buainain explained that 11 thousand and 439 employees were employed within the past 5 years in the government sector, from onset of 2013 until end of 2017, 2393 of whom are not Bahrainis.

The Minister mentioned that the number of employees in the government sector increased at the end of 2017 to 48 thousand and 393 employees affiliated to Civil Service Bureau, noting that foreigners constitute 16.6% of them.
