Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain has expressed its full support for the US strategy towards Iran, announced by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo yesterday, saying it reflects the determination to address the threat of Iranian policies that undermine security and stability in the region and to overcome the shortcomings of the nuclear deal, as well as to prevent the threat of Iran's Ballistic missiles.

In a statement, the Bahraini Foreign Ministry hailed US efforts aimed at strengthening regional and international security and peace and its relentless efforts to take all possible measures to prevent the spread of chaos and tensions and to resolve crises in the region.

It also stressed that Bahrain considers itself "in the same position with the United States of America in the face of the Iranian threat and in confronting Iran's attempts to export violence and terrorism," calling on Iran to respond to "exerted efforts to resolve conflicts in the region [...] and to never interfere in the internal affairs of the countries in the region".
