Bahrain Mirror: Israeli media outlets reported a Bahraini official as saying that "Bahrain does not view Israel as an enemy," stressing that "Bahrain will be first Gulf state to form ties with Israel."

A Bahraini official told the Israeli i24NEWS that "An official Israeli delegation is set to travel to Bahrain to attend a meeting of the World Heritage Committee organized by UNESCO on June 24."

The Bahraini official told the Israeli website that Manama is "obligated to allow the Israeli delegation to attend and express its views," adding that "Bahrain's interest is the most important thing for Bahrain."

He further said that the newly relocated American embassy in Jerusalem is not located in the future Palestinian capital, stressing that the Bahraini-Israeli rapprochement "will not contradict the principles of Bahrain."
