Bahrain Mirror: Director-General of Southern Governorate Police announced that as part of the directives of Southern Governor, Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, a number of illegal expatriate workers were arrested.

He said that the arrest took place during an inspection campaign at the scrap yard in cooperation with the Southern Governorate and Southern Municipality.

The director-general indicated that legal measures are being taken against the arrested, stressing that such campaigns would continue to tackle issues related to the illegal workers.
