Bahrain Mirror: The Ministry of Labour and Social Development will be holding the General Recruitment Exhibition on August 1, in the ministry lobby in Isa Town.

The exhibition, to be held for one day, will be attended by companies and establishments operating in the private sector.

In this context, the ministry called on jobseekers to visit the exhibition and meet representatives of companies taking part in the exhibition.

Unemployed say that these exhibitions don't provide them job opportunities that fit their scientific qualifications. Unemployment increased among university students after the government started employing foreigners among a reprisal campaign launched against Shiite citizens for leading 2011 protests that demanded putting an end to Al Khalifa monopoly over power.
