Bahrain Kuwait Insurance to Merge Its Branches with Takaful International after Acquiring Most of its Shares

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain Kuwait Insurance is currently considering merging its branches and some supportive services with Takaful International has acquired 77.25% in Takaful International, the chairman of Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Murad Ali Mohamed Murad said.
Murad said in statements to a local newspaper that the company awaits approval from regulatory entities to proceed with the merger.
He added "the Bahraini insurance company pumped money in Takaful International to raise its ownership to 77.25% and its capital from 6.25 million to 8.5 million Dinar, in order to strengthen its the financial solvency and serve all sectors and needs from insurance services, whether symbiotic or traditional insurance services."
