Bahrain Mirror: Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) Mariam Al-Jalahma said that the authority received 68 complaints submitted against governmental health services within the past 5 months. She said that investigation in 25 of the complaints was concluded and that one complaint was referred to the public prosecution.

Al-Jalahma added that the investigation was carried out under supervision of a specialized commission that proved the existence of medical negligence in 2 of the complaints. Meanwhile, it confirmed that there were no medical mistakes in 12 complaints and adjourned 8 others, indicating that the commission failed to investigate one of the cases due to lack of complete medical record.
