Bahrain Mirror: Australian Foreign Minister Marise Payne said she is to meet with Thai Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai to advocate for the safe return to Australia of Mr Hakeem Al-Araibi.

Payen said in an official statement that during her visit to Thailand, she "will sign a new Thailand-Australia Memorandum of Understanding on Cyber and Digital Cooperation," as well as "advocate for the safe return to Australia of Mr Hakeem Alaraibi, who is currently detained in Thailand. Mr Alaraibi was granted permanent residency by the Australian Government in recognition of his status as a refugee."

Thai authorities last November Arrested Al-Araibi upon his arrival in Bangkok with his family.
