Bahrain Mirror: The Supreme Civil Court of Appeal rejected an appeal of a group of lawyers against the decision of the administrative court regarding the rejection of the appeal on the oil price raise and upheld the verdict of the first-instance court. Lawyer Mohammed Al-Thawadi said they are studying the grounds of the verdict and the possibilities of appealing it in the cassation court.

In March, the High Administrative court ruled that the case against them was inadmissible and refused to appeal against the unconstitutionality of the decision, but in the appeal list, they stated there's an error in the appellant's application of the law, its lack of causation and its corruption in reasoning, as per Article 2 of Act No. 52 for the year 2006 on the publication of administrative regulations: Subject to the provisions of any other law, all the regulations referred to in article 1 of this Law shall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall be put into effect the following day following its publication. A special provision of the law or regulation may specify a further date for its application.
