Bahrain Mirror: Israel said on Monday (May 31, 2021) that it is angry at Bahrain and Sudan's support for the United Nations Human Rights Council resolution.

The decision calls for the formation of a committee to investigate Israeli violations in the Gaza Strip. Tel Aviv confirmed that it expected the two countries to vote otherwise, the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported.

The Hebrew newspaper pointed out that the Israeli Foreign Ministry told Bahrain and Sudan that it was not satisfied with the way they voted, "which does not contribute to promoting peace in the region."

The newspaper pointed out that this matter comes at a time when there is talk about first of kind differences between Israel and Bahrain and Sudan, which announced the normalization of their relations with Tel Aviv late last year.

It is worth noting that on Thursday, May 27, 2021, the United Nations Human Rights Council voted in favor of opening an international investigation into the crimes committed during the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
