Bahrain: Sadiq Haidar Arrested, Haj Mounir Mushaima Summoned for Interrogation

Bahrain Mirror: "Rasd", a network specialized in security movements, raids and arrests, said that the Bahraini security authorities decided on Saturday (August 6, 2022) to arrest Sadiq Haidar from Al-Markh and present him to the Public Prosecution after summoning him for interrogation. It is to mention that the reasons behind his arrest and the charges brought against him are still unknown.
In a similar context, Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society said that the security authorities summoned on Sunday (August 7, 2022) Haj Mounir Mushaima, brother of martyr Sami Mushaima, for interrogation at Al-Qudaibiya police station as part of the series of harassment and prosecution against activists in the country.
