Bahrain Mirror: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani said that "officials in the government of Bahrain have voiced their readiness to develop relations with Iran."

Kanaani said, in a press conference held in Tehran on Monday, June 12, 2023: "We are interested in expanding relations with all Islamic, Arab and neighboring countries," adding, "We hope to see a positive trend in relations with Bahrain along with the trend we are witnessing in the region."
