Bahrain Mirror: The Bahraini authorities prevented organizing a memorial service for martyrs Sadiq Thamer and Jaafar Sultan, marking the passage of 40 days of their execution in Saudi Arabia.

Al-Wefaq reported that authorities threatened to close the Husseiniya if memorial service was held for the martyrs Thamer and Sultan. 

Saudi Arabia executed Sultan and Thamer on Monday, May 29, 2023, over fabricated charges of "terrorism" after they were detained for 8 years, during which they were tortured, ill-treated and deprived of their human rights.
