Bahrain Mirror: The organizing committee for Imam Hussein blood donation campaign, launched its campaign in its 25th year under slogan "Al-Hussein is a forever-lit candle" organized by the Naim Charitable Organization and in cooperation with the Health Ministry, represented by the Central Blood Bank, during the 8th and 9th days of Muharram 14445 Hijri (27 and 28 July 2023) in "Tamkeen Naim Youths Center".

The committee adopted "Al-Hussein is a forever-lit candle" slogan for its campaign this year, which is the same slogan it used in its first year, marking the quarter of a century since its foundation and work. 

The committee indicated in a statement that the campaign will be dedicated in its two days this year for men, and it will announce through the campaign's accounts on social media outlets the opening of campaign's website to book appointments.

The Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Fadel Al-Nashit, stressed that "the great turnout for participation reflects the keenness to give in the name of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)," confirming that "the donations go to help all patients in need without discrimination," noting that "the campaign has so far provided the Central Blood Bank with 15466 blood units."
