Bahrain Mirror: Ahmed Al-Wadaei, director of the Bahrain Institute for Rights and Democracy (BIRD), revealed that the Jaw Prison administration transferred 4 death row political prisoners to solitary confinement after resisting an attack they were subjected to in May 2023.

Al-Wadaei explained through the "X" platform that Yemeni policeman, Marwan Al-Khudairi, bet the 4 prisoners, Maher Al-Khabbaz, Salman Isa, Zuheir Ibrahim, and Hussein Al-Rashed, on their heads with an iron bottle, but they resisted him. Thus, the prison administration transferred them to solitary confinement.
