Sayed Al-Ghuraifi: Unemployment Crisis Confuses Homeland, Prisons' Overcrowding Worsens Paths

Bahrain Mirror: Sayed Abdullah Al-Ghuraifi stressed that "the homeland only becomes stable by approaching crises with wisdom, awareness and insight," pointing out that "the unemployment crisis confuses the homeland and prisons' overcrowding worsens the paths and complaints of detainees need to be seriously addressed."

In his Friday sermon at the Imam Sadiq Mosque in Gofoul, on the evening of August 24, 2023, Sayed Al-Ghuraifi explained that "the crisis of hundreds of thousands of unemployed people confuses the homeland, and the arrival of expatriates makes large numbers of citizens unemployed."

"Prisons' overcrowding worsens the paths and burdens the state, and the complaints of prisoners need serious treatment in order to preserve the dignity of this country and the pride of this people," he said.

He pointed out that "crises are intensifying and treatments are getting more complicated because there is a flaw in the way they are handled, and this flaw should be addressed. There must be serious and honest dialogues not for one team to triumph over another, but rather for the crises to come to an end, and in order to have sound stances and like-minded convictions, and build our homeland, and to have tolerance triumph over revenge, security over terror and justice over injustice."

He stressed that "the homeland only becomes stable by approaching crises with wisdom, awareness and insight, and in order for the homeland to remain proud and dignified, it should be free of all crises," noting that "this is not difficult when intentions are pure and wills come together."

Al-Ghuraifi said "It is the will of regimes and the will of peoples, when they are integrated, the homelands will be fine and prosperous."
