Bahrain Mirror: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani said that Iran gives much importance to its relations with Bahrain and that messages are being exchanged between the two countries and indirect negotiations are currently underway.

Kanaani said in his weekly press conference in Tehran that "Iran is keen to expand its relations with all neighboring states based on mutual interests but has specific considerations and expectations when it comes to Bahrain, which are being addressed through diplomatic channels."
