Bahrain Mirror: Sayed Tahir Al-Musawi, an Al-Wefaq Society official, stressed that "there is no legal, constitutional, security, or health justification for imposing a security permit for travel to Iraq."

In a post on the formerly Twitter "X" platform on Sunday, June 2, 2024, Al-Musawi emphasized that "no party has the right to impose this measure on citizens," explaining that "visiting, traveling, and moving are constitutional rights, and it is not permissible to misuse the law in this regard."

He argued that "the only philosophy that explains this measure is sectarianism, which is the root of many problems and crises," noting that "those who practice it are the ones who deserve punishment according to the constitution and the law."
