Under-secretary at Ministry of Education resigns after disputes emerge: I hope high-quality education is achieved

Bahrain Mirror (Exclusive): The Under-secretary for Resources and Services at Bahrain's Ministry of Education, Hisham Bin Abdul Aziz Al Khalifa, stated that (Thursday April 9, 2015) was his last day in office at the ministry of education, confirming the reports saying that some officials resigned after being questioned.

On his personal account on Twitter, Hisham said that "It (Thursday) is the last official day at work in the ministry. I hope God will grant those responsible of education success in achieving high-quality education that the nation deserves."

The Al-Bilad newspaper, owned by the prime minister's son, Ali Bin Khalifa, had stated on (March 18, 2015)

The paper added that "after the resignation of the under-secretary for resources and services at the ministry, resignations of the assistant-undersecretary, a number of directors and a department manager followed, due to different as well as similar reasons."

As for the main reasons behind the resignations of these ministry officials, Al-Bilad newspaper stated that they "are based on the way senior officials are treated, on administrative levels, by the ministry's hierarchy, and lack of professional appreciation; in addition to mismanagement and misconduct regarding many issues."
