Bahrain PM Khalifa Bin Salman Denounces What he Calls "Blackmail" of Human Rights Groups

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Prime Minister stated that "it is unacceptable to have Bahrain give in to the blackmail of some human rights organizations that ignore information and facts and intend to distort the image of the gulf kingdom."
Upon receiving the president and commissioners of the National Human Rights Institution (which is appointed by the King) on Sunday (April 26, 2015), the PM also stressed that Bahrain is "committed to international treaties and conventions on human rights."
Khalifa Bin Salman also considered that the National Human Rights Institution enjoys "international appreciation for its objective work which is in accordance with Bahrain's respectable human rights and freedoms record."
