Bahrain Interior Ministry Says Several Suspects Arrested Over Sitra Bomb Blast

Bahrain Mirror: Chief of Bahrain's Public Security Major-General Tariq Al-Hassan said that a number of suspects in the bomb blast that took place in Sitra were taken into custody. The Ministry of Interior had announced on Tuesday morning (July 28, 2015) that an explosion occurred in Sitra after cordoning off the area for hours.
"An investigation into the terrorist blast that took place in Sitra on Tuesday July 28, identified the suspects and a number of them have been arrested," Al-Hassan stated.
Opposition factions doubt the acts of violence that the Interior Ministry announces and call for establishing independent investigation committees to look into these incidents, but the ministry refuses to respond to these requests.
