Bahrain Mirror: The family of the late Ali Al-Aradi refused the possibility that Ali committed suicide, declaring that it has enough evidence to refute the Public Prosecution's narrative in its last statement in this regard.

The family stressed that "the life of the late Ali Al-Aradi was full of good deeds and faith in the destiny that God has drawn for us and he didn't disobey God in the simplest of things. It was but torture through which they wanted to blackmail and pressure him, thus killing him and throwing him in the swimming pool. Ali's way of life assures that he was religiously committed to his acts of worship and conducted all the worldly matters, whether small or big, according to the teachings of his religion."

Al-Aradi's family said that "there were severe beating marks clearly shown on all of his Ali's body parts. There were marks that showed that his hands, legs and neck were cuffed. He was also hit on his head, which was witnessed by everyone who attended the funeral procession. Besides, most of the experts prove that this mark on his head is not a result of autopsy. It was; however, caused before it, and Ali's head, nose and mouth continued to bleed even when his corpse was being washed."
"We insist on digging out his body and have it exposed to specialized and independent committees and doctors to look into the incident," the family added.

The family further stated that "Ali was threatened a long time ago over a financial loss case of a powerful investor. Although the court ruled for Ali's favor, the powerful investor kept on threatening Ali even after the issuing of the verdict. Throwing him in the swimming pool and cuffing him is but a clear attempt to hide the marks of torture and abuses on his body."

"One of the suspicions matters that raise questions is that his neighbor drove him to Umm Al-Hassam, noting that Ali had a meeting with some people on the night prior to the incident and that Ali postponed it at their request. Ali's neighbor pointed out that Ali was acting normal and when he drove him to Umm Al-Hassam, Ali confirmed that there was no need to wait for him or even accompany him for those people will drive him back." the family stressed.

"We knew that Ali had a meeting with a group and that group postponed it to the following day. Is it a coincidence that a building that is under construction closes its doors every day at 5 P.M. except for the day of the incident? Isn't there a big question surrounding the fact that the doors of the building did not close on that day, where Ali was certainly lured to?" the family said.

"These are many questions. We request the public prosecution to wait and not close the case until everything is cleared up," it added.

The family concluded by saying: "We assure that we will move on with this case through judicial means by appointing a lawyer, and this is what we have already started so that the case would be reopened and seriously looked into. We do not acknowledge the medical report until the truth is revealed and the perpetrators are brought to justice."
