Bahrain Mirror: The Secretary-General of Bahrain's Supreme Defence Council Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa said that Bahrain has been subjected to conspiracies in 2011 by "the world's largest states and Iran wasn't only one conspiring at that time. However, God's mercy and wisdom and leadership of his highness King Hamad, as well as the strength, love and loyalty of the Bahraini people have prevented the Iranian interference."

Duaij Al Khalifa added during a seminar entitled "The official Iranian interference in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain...indications and evidence" that the "Iranian interference in Bahrain's internal affairs has existed since a long time ago and Bahrain's history that dates back to more than 200 years is honorable and bright."

He further stated that "the Iranian interference has reached Africa and although Iran has abundant resources, its people live in harsh conditions as 65% of its wealth is spent on Iran's Revolutionary Guard."
