Bahrain Mirror: Wife of the former Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society and Member of Parliament, Sheikh Hassan Isa, said that he refuted the charges of "supporting and funding terrorism" brought against him by the Bahraini Ministry of Interior. The Public Prosecution had claimed that Sheikh Hasan Isa confessed to these charges.

The Interior Ministry declared that Sheikh Hassan Isa was arrested at Bahrain International Airport on August 18, 2015 over charges of funding terrorism, before the prosecution claimed that he admitted to committing the charges brought against him later on.
