(September 11, 2015) the news of the arrest of an individual attempting to leave the country through Bahrain International Airport with a large amount of money.
The ministry called on the public to seek information from official sources and not believe malicious rumors being spread on social media.

Rumors indicated that one of the employees of the Jaffaria Endowment (Waqf) was arrested with a large amount of money and foreign currencies attempting to leave the island kingdom. The Interior Ministry; however, denied this information.
