Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's Parliament Speaker Ahmad Bin Ebrahim Al-Mulla said that the Parliament completely supports the new perspectives of the Bahraini government. According to the official state Bahrain TV channel, he stressed, Saturday (January 16, 2016), on "the complete support of the parliament for every new approach achieving the highest national interest."

A number of Bahraini MPs had promised to question both Ministers of Energy and Finance after a series of governmental decisions raising petrol prices by a rate of 60%.
