Bahrain Fined 200 BD for "Insulting" Parliament on Instagram

Bahrain Mirror: Bahrain's First Minor Criminal Court, presided over by judge Ibrahim Al-Jefn and Mohammad Makki as secretariat, fined a Bahraini youth 200 Bahraini dinars over charges of insulting the parliament on a social media website.

The details of the case say that the defendant posted on his Instagram account a comment, deemed "offensive to the parliament", so a lawsuit was raised against him by the Public Prosecution and his case was referred to the court which issued the aforementioned sentence.
