Bahrain Mirror: The security authorities arrested today (Tuesday, July, 26, 2016) Shiite cleric Sheikh Saeed Al-Asfour and decided to expose him to the public prosecution tomorrow.

The Al-Budai police station sent a notice to the house of Sheikh Al-Asfour on Monday (July 25, 2016) asking him to appear to investigation.

In the past days, the authorities summoned a number of people residing in Diraz over holding open strike outside Sheikh Isa Qassim's house that has been ongoing since over a month against revocation of Sheikh Qassim's citizenship.

The authorities will hold Sheikh Qassim's first trial session on Wednesday for receiving the Khums (alms) money, an obligatory ritual practiced by the Shiite sect.
