Bahrain Mirror: The High Appeals Court presided over by judge Mohammad bin Ali Al Khalifa and Naji Abdullah as secretariat commuted the sentence of an appellant, reducing his prison term for 3 to 2 years over arson and assembly in Sitra.

The fifth high criminal court sentenced a suspect to 3 years in prison and sentenced another one to 6 months over setting fire to tires and water tank, assembling and acquiring Molotov.

The authorities claim that the two suspects took part in assembly of about 40 persons and set fire to 6 tires and water tank, alleging that they reached the suspects through "investigations".

The Public Prosecution accused the suspects of deliberately setting fire on April 19, 2015, along with other unknowns, to movables, endangering people's lives and money, taking part in an assembly of more than 5 persons as well as acquiring Molotov aiming at using them to put people's lives and public and private money to danger.
