Bahrain Mirror: The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that it had nothing to do with the recent visit of the American-Jewish trade delegation to Bahrain. In indicated that some members of the chamber and traders who took part in meeting with the said delegation were there "in their individual capacity", and were invited by the organizers of that event.

In a statement issued Wednesday (December 28, 2016), the chamber clarified that it is completely committed to the Kingdom of Bahrain's policies, and its people's aspirations towards local, Arab, and international cases. It also added that it is keen to serve the local private sector and national economy, in a way that complies with the wise policy of the Bahraini leadership and government.

Moreover, the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry called at the end of its statement upon all parties that dubbed it responsible for organizing the event, to investigate and find the correct and true information.

A Jewish delegation from a New York-based organization had visited Manama recently, and held meeting with traders in Bahrain. Videos and pictures went viral showing the Jewish delegation performing and Talmudic song, with Bahraini traders participating in their dance. This led to huge rage among Bahrainis, considering this event normalization with the Israelis.

The event was widely covered and broadcasted by the Israeli media. Meanwhile Palestinian Hamas Movement and Lebanon's Hezbollah Secretary General Sayed Hassan Nasrallah denounced it.
