Bahrain Mirror- Exclusive: Family of Mostafa Hamadan (17 years) who was injured in Diraz attack is still under anaesthesia and artificial ventilation. The bullet is still lodged in his skull. Doctors couldn't extract the bullet due to Hamdan's young age and body weakness.

The family confirmed that they could meet their son on Thursday (January 26, 2017) after the surgery was finished, explaining that he tried to move his hand and leg. They added that his condition is dangerous but stable.

They further stated that they met the doctor in charge of Mostafa's case. The doctor said that Mostafa was admitted to the surgery room in a very bad condition. He suffered from fractures in his skull where the major artery was damaged due to the bullet he received, adding that he has bleeding in his nose and throat.

The doctor couldn't identify whether the bullet lodged in Mostafa's skull is a live bullet or shotgun. He hoped to identify it 3 or 4 days later, after Hamdan's health condition ameliorates.

Mostafa Hamdan received a bullet in his head at the dawn of Thursday during the attack carried out by the security forces against the protestors found outside Sheikh Isa Qassim's house.
